If you buy only one book on English tiles, this should be the one! Small format book (about 9" x 6"), hard back, and just filled with great photos and accurate text. 239 pages, originally published in 1979 by Antique Collectors’ Club - this edition is 1994. This is an unused book - the dust jacket has some bends and wear but the interior pages are clean and bright. A large portion of the book deals with English transfer printed and hand painted series tiles. Nicely divided into subject categories, easy to use and just an overall excellent reference book on tiles.
