============================================= Biography from the Net: Karson, Joseph - Many magicians are no doubt familiar with the name Joe Karson. He was, of course, the father of "Zombie," the famous (and often infamous) floating ball. However, that seems to be all that most of today’s magicians know about the man. The truth is, Karson was an extremely clever inventor of magic and a highly skilled comedic performer. Karson was a prominent magic dealer in the 1940’s and wrote over a dozen books and created many tricks. In addition to his "Zombie," Karson was also responsible for one of magic’s more popular tricks, the "Neck Twister," which has seen many variations over the years. ============================================
