Bookends made in Japan in Colonial or Victorian courting couple design. Marked Japan in red on the bottom these bookends are 7.25 inches tall and have gold accents on white glossy porcelain. Lady is flirting with the gentlemen with her fan. Nice for the boudoir or formal living room. Price is for the set of 2 from the 1950s era.

Compact Estee Lauder Perfume 1968 Solid
Estee Lauder marked logo solid perfume compact. This gold rope compact has a turquoise cabochon stone. This had the Youth Dew perfume I believe and is from 1968 and then reissued in 1971. 1.50 inches wide these compacts are very collectible. There is a collectible book on these solid perfume cuties. The perfumes have been issued from 1967 to the present and it is very much fun to find the different ones. Tiny wear to the goldtone metal but overall excellent. Alot of the solid perfume remains as shown. Smells wonderful but easy to remove if desired. This would also make a marvelous pill box or small trinket box. Nice clasp with paper label intact but well worn. I have already sold 2 others like this so pretty popular.

Jewelry Box Art Toothpicks Wood Outsider Art
Very unusual jewelry box. This handmade box is covered totally with toothpicks. Like tramp art in nature this took hours to do. I found it at a market and just found it fascinating. The name is Jessica on it and it has pretty deep red almost wine colored felt inside the box as well as on the top of the box. This is carefully tufted in or sewn in. States on the side Pappy Loves You Mija which is Spanish for my daughter or little one or loved one depending on whom you are speaking. Perfect for a gift for someone named Jessica. Size is 13.0 by 12.0. The top of the box has the latches broke and the 2 side draws are missing but such a unique piece. It had a photo of the creator and I removed it but any photo or greeting card would work in the space. Just a loving creation that took so much time to do by a very talented and patient artist.

Basket Art Deco Vanity Uranium Glass Green
Fabulous Art Deco period basket for the collectors or this era or for vanity collectors. I am calling this uranium glass as it glows as shown brightly. Some will call this vaseline glass and some collectors will not. Whatever this smart basket is it is very different. The metal basket screams Art Deco and the glass is an insert that can be removed as shown. Some wear to the metal basket from 1920 to 1930s period but glass is perfect.
