Victorian Enamel and Diamonds Mourning Brooch
Gorgeous Victorian mourning brooch made of rolled gold and black enamel accentuated with diamonds. The beautiful classical scrollwork is raised and detailed. The centre is in high relief having a pair of intertwined flowers whose heads are filled with diamonds. It measures a very impressive 2 ¼ inches by 1-¾ inches, it has the original c catch working closure and glass compartment, which still holds locks of hair. There was a loop on the back for a safety chain, which is worn in the centre. One tiny portion of the raised gold work is missing with a very minute shallow chip to the black enamel under a flower, which is seen through a jeweler’s loop-definitely not detracting but stated for accuracy, otherwise just fine. This is a high quality memorial brooch is seldom found. Beautiful to wear and enjoy adding to your collection of Victorian mourning jewelry

VICTORIAN ETRUSCAN SILVER EARRINGS & BROOCH
This is a Striking Etruscan style Victorian sterling silver brooch and earring set circa 1860s. It is most difficult to find Victorian earrings, but to find a complete matching set is even more so of a rare find. This set consists of beautifully detailed earrings with cannonballs and granulation work. The brooch is an original match to the earrings with the same elegance and uniquness in design. The back of this fine Victorian brooch has its original convex glass compartment where locks of hair or a photo would be kept. The brooch and earrings are all original, I noticed the inside of the brooch had reinforcement, this does not show from the outside and definitely does not take anything away from this beautiful brooch, otherwise the condition is excellent. All the cannonballs are present and the earrings have their original hooks. The brooch measures 1 1/2 inches. The earrings are a tad over 1 inches from the top of the wire to the bottom. The width is 3/4 inches. What an absolutely fabulous original Victorian set to enjoy wearing and adding to your collection of antique jewelry.
