Sebastian/Hudson Pewter Plate
American Independence - that's the name and topic of this pewter plate. It's 8.5" in diameter, and was produced by Sebastian between 1973-1976. It's a Bicentennial commemorative pewter plate whose center depicts the Spirit of '76. Around the edges are scenes which shows Paul Revere's ride, the Lexington Minutemen, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the encampment at Valley Forge, and Washington crossing the Deleware. The plate's reverse bears a remarkably detailed microminiature casting of the Declaration of Independence, including all signatures. It's been discontinued forever, and it books at between $60 and $110. It's being offered here for only $50.

Hallmark Little Gallery 1988 pewter plate
Little Gallery Pewter Plate, 6” across, #NLP6044. No box. This limited edition plate was produced in 1988 and depicts a child sleeping, with visions of sugar plums dancing in her head. Designed by Mary Hamilton and engraved by Dillard Rhodus and Don Palmiter, it was limited to 27,500 pieces. The Little Gallery mark is on the back, along with other information, including a holiday message which reads: “The Children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.” No tarnish. Nothing bent. No damage. In excellent condition. Listed elsewhere on the net for $120, my price is $55.
